I’d like to tell you about myself
and the novel I wrote called,
The Struggle for Kathy’s Soul.

An honest portrayal of identity, faith, love, and acceptance.
In 1970s California, two young social workers, one shaped by strict Christian values, the other fiercely independent, fall into a forbidden love that forces them to confront desire, identity, and the profound.cost of choosing between faith and the heart.
Meet the Author
Karen Ross has worn many hats. She has worked as a sales person in department and music stores, then was a receptionist, secretary, real estate agent, bank teller, waitress, insurance agent, and financial planner before finding her calling in social work and psychotherapy. Ross draws on these experiences to create the characters and world depicted in The Struggle for Kathy’s Soul. She has written articles and pamphlets, but this is her first novel. She lives in California with her dog, Sadie.
